Our Returns Policy & Quality Guarantee

RETURNS:

We take extra care with each and every order to make sure our products leave our warehouse in perfect condition. Although we work very hard to deliver top quality products in the hopes that you will not need to return them, we do accept returns (see exceptions below). You may return items purchased from us for a refund of the purchase price within 30 days of the delivery date of your order. Original shipping charges will be deducted from the refund. Please note the following exceptions to our returns policy:

  • Liquid yeast is not returnable because it is highly perishable. Please choose carefully when ordering liquid yeast. You may be entitled to a credit if you had a problem with the liquid yeast you ordered from us. Please read our liquid yeast guarantee below.
  • We can not accept returns of items that have been used or are missing original components or packaging. We reserve the right to deduct up to 50% of the original price for returns of items that have been used or have missing components or packaging.
  • We do not accept returns of ingredients that have been opened. If the original seal is broken, the package has been opened. If there is a problem with the quality of an item, you may be entitled to a credit or a refund. Please see our guarantee below for more information.
  • Closeout items are not returnable.
  • Hop rhizomes are live plants and are not returnable
  • Coffee roasters that have been used but are in perfect working order may be returned for a 25% restocking fee if returned within 15 days of the delivery date. We will reduce the restocking fee to 20% if credit is used to purchase a similar product from us. If an appliance is not functioning as expected the problem should be resolved by the manufacturers warranty via a replacement or repair.

To return an item to our company, please follow the steps below:

1. Call our customer service department (800) 768-4409 or e-mail us at 7bridges@breworganic.com so we can help you to determine the best method for returning the item. A return authorization will be issued.
2. Package the item in the original shipping container. Please make sure all components that belong with the item are included. Missing components will delay or reduce your refund. Shipping costs to return the item are your responsibility. These charges will not be refunded unless the item was damaged or defective due to our error.
3. Include a copy of the original packing slip or receipt with the return. If do not have the original packing slip or receipt please tell us when you call. If documentation is missing we will look up your order in our records and ask you to hand write a return slip to include with your return.

The returned merchandise will be credited to your credit card, or a refund check will be issued if you used a check to pay for the order or if we no longer have your credit card number. For security reasons we do not maintain customer credit card numbers on file. You must pay return postage unless we have authorized a return at our own expense due to a defective or damaged item. We will not refund your original shipping charges unless it is clear that the product is defective or was damaged by the shipping carrier while in transit to you. You are responsible for insuring shipment of returns to us.

QUALITY GUARANTEE:

Organic Ingredients:

We take extra care to maintain the quality and organic integrity of our brewing ingredients. All of our organic ingredients are guaranteed to be delivered fresh and free of defects. If you are not happy with an item you may return it unopened for a refund within 30 days of the delivery of your order under our return policy above. If you believe an ingredient is defective please contact us right away. We may require a sample of the item in question for verification. If an item we ship to you is clearly defective we will refund all charges, including shipping, once we have verified the defect. Please note that organic products are naturally produced and inconsistencies in color or appearance are a natural occurrence and are not an indication that the product is defective.

Organic Green Coffee:

We taste test each new shipment of green coffee when it arrives in our warehouse and only sell coffee our staff believes to be of the highest quality. Taste is a fickle and very personal thing, so if you do not like a particular coffee we will accept your return of 1 opened package of the coffee you do not like for store credit if returned within 30 days of purchase. We will accept the return of any unopened coffee within 30 days for a cash or credit refund. Shipping costs are not refundable unless there is an obvious defect which will be determined by our staff upon reciept of the returned coffee. If you are not sure of a coffee we strongly encourage you to buy a small quantity first to be sure you will like it!

Appliances, Brewing Equipment and Supplies:

We offer a 30 day warranty on products not covered by another manufacturers warranty. We work hard to make sure every product leaves our warehouse in perfect condition. If an item you ordered arrives damaged or defective please contact us right away so we can work with you to have it replaced, repaired, or refunded. As we are not the manufacturer of most equipment or supply items, other warranty conditions may apply.

Coffee roasters that have been used but are in perfect working order may be returned for a 25% restocking fee if returned within 15 days of the delivery date. Liquid Brewing Yeast:

We take every precaution to make sure liquid yeast arrives in good condition. We offer a LIMITED guarantee on yeast. Please read the following liquid yeast purchase information to be sure you understand our policies regarding shipments of liquid yeast.

White Labs Guarantee: We guarantee White Labs to be fresh. We do not ship White Labs that has a best by date that is less than 1 month from the ship date. All liquid yeast is shipped with a complementary ice pack, and at least 98% of shipments arrive in good condition. We do not guarantee viability of White Labs shipped by ground carrier. If you require a guarantee of viability you must have the yeast shipped by 1 or 2 day Air. If a White Labs that you had shipped by 2 day air or was purchased in our retail store fails to show visible fermentation within 48 hours (in a starter or in a fermentation up to 6 gallons in volume), we will refund the purchase price. If making a claim in our retail store you must present both the empty package and your receipt.
Wyeast Guarantee: We guarantee Wyeast pouches to swell within 6 days of activation. If the pouch does not swell within 6 days and within 30 days from the date your order was shipped, call us for a prompt refund (replacements made at our discretion if available). If making a claim in our retail store you must present both the empty package and your receipt. We suggest you have the yeast shipped by 1 or 2 day Air if you order liquid yeast in the summer (June 1st to September 1st). Liquid yeast claims have a lifetime limit of 2 per individual.
