A very good cask conditioned ale strain, this extremely flocculant yeast produces distinctly malty beers. Attenuation levels are typically less than most other yeast strains which results in a slightly sweeter finish. Ales produced with this strain tend to be fruity, increasingly so with higher fermentation temperatures of 70-74°F (21-23° C). A thorough diacetyl rest is recommended after fermentation is complete. Bright beers are easily achieved within days without any filtration.

A Note on Shipping Liquid Yeast: Brewing yeast is not returnable because it is highly perishable. We ship all of our yeasts with an ice pack to help prevent the yeast from incuring any damage due to raises in temperature during shipping. We have a variety of shipping options available for you to choose from. If you are concerned about shipping time, you can also purchase your yeast separately from other items in your cart to help ensure your yeast arrives quickly and safely, or ask for an additional icepack to be shipped with your yeast. The majority of our customers do not have any problems with ground shipping most months out of the year, but if you are in a warm climate far from us, we want to make you aware of your options.
