This bottom fermenting yeast is used by many European breweries. a genuine German-style dry lager yeast. Develops the best of its lager notes under low-temperature fermentation (45° - 50° F) but will make good lager and Pilsner beers at higher temperatures (50° - 55°F). 11.5 gram package is perfect for a five to seven gallon batch. Recommended 45° to 55° F fermentation temperature range.
