Pasteur Blanc has a neutral flavor profile that is recommended for dry wines. Recommended for Cabernet, Cider, Dry Whites, Fruits, Meads, Port, and sodas. Despite the name, this yeast SHOULD NOT be used in sparkling wines.
Note: As the term Champagne is a controlled designation of origin, Red Star has decided to change the name of this strain from "Pasteur Champagne" to "Pasteur Blanc". The culture itself remains unchanged.
