Just about every coffee producer in the world ships the green coffee in food grade burlap sacks. Most of these have the Co-op or grower name printed on the bag. These bags can be used as decoration, or use them in your next art project. They are food grade, so you could cut them down to make sacks to store your supply of green beans in. Burlap is perfect for this purpose as it is a very loose weave to allow good air circulation. When you order this item we will hand select bags in good condition from what we have on hand. If you wish to hand select your own, please drop by our store. Please understand that we cannot spend time going through the piles of sacks over the phone! Each sack is large enough to hold 125 to 150 pounds of green coffee beans, and measure approximately 24 inches by 36 inches. We only generate a few of these a week and so prefer to sell them to our regular customers. Limit of 5 sacks per order.Sorry, nO exceptions to this limit. UPS & Fedex Ground Shipping Rates: Shipping cost is based on weight and we charge what UPS charges us to ship your package. If you order online, the shipping cost is calculated once the items you wish to order are added to the shopping cart and you enter the ship to address. For mail and fax orders you will need the shipping quote before the order is sent to us. Here are the options for obtaining a shipping quote:

Enter the address, shipping weight, and our zip code, and rates and times in transit will be displayed. Please note that time in transit starts from the date the order shipped, which is usually but not always day after the order is placed. USPS Rate Calculator: If you know the exact shipping weight of your order (including the weight of the box and packaging), you may use the US Postal Service shipping page. Our zip code is 95060. Enter the address, shipping weight, and our zip code, and rates and times in transit will be displayed. Please note that time in transit starts from the date the order shipped, not the day you place the order. Our mail carrier picks up orders at 10 am on most days. This means orders must be placed by 12 pm to be shipped by Priority Mail the following day. Orders placed after noon that are being shipped by Priority Mail will not ship the next day, they will ship the day after. SHIPPING & BACK ORDERS:

We ship most orders within one business day of receiving them. If an order is received by 12 PM on a weekday we will ship it the same day (except for very large orders). We are a small business with a small staff, so there are days when we have lots of orders to ship and we cannot ship all of the orders on that day. When this happens (most often on Mondays), we always ship the orders in the order that we received them. We really appreciate your understanding! We do not back order or substitute items without contacting you first: If we are out of an item we will call or e-mail for instructions, unless the item is a closeout that is no longer available.

C.O.D. ORDERS:

We do not accept COD orders. Check or money orders can be mailed to the address on the order form

EXPRESS SHIPPING:

If you are in a rush we can ship your order via UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Air to the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and other overseas U.S. destinations are always shipped USPS Priority Mail, but can be shipped UPS 2 Day Air upon request. If you wish NEXT DAY AIR Shipping, you must place your order by telephone. Orders shipped by an expedited method are billed the actual cost of shipping & insurance.

All of the products labeled organic that we sell are certified organic by California certified Organic Farmers, a USDA recognized agency. The USDA federal rule guarantees you, the consumer, organic products that are grown without toxic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Buying organic will insure that the food products you consume contain no genetically modified organisms (GMO's), and are free from irradiation. In addition, buying certified organic means all of the equipment and storage facilities have been inspected to make sure no harmful chemicals are used in cleaning equipment or pest management, and no chemical or other potentially harmful processing aids or additives are used in the processing of organic foods.
