Now with more malt and more hops, our IPA kit has been improved to satisfy your thirst for a strong, extra hoppy beer. Our kit features the distinct hint of blackberry flavor from the New Zealand Pacific Gem hops and a light toasted malt flavor. The NZ Hallertaur hops add a rich hop aroma. Like a traditional IPA, this beer has a strong hop bitterness. For a hoppier aroma, try dry hopping with organic New Zealand Hallertaur, Pacific Gem, or Cascade hops (purchase separately). Contains organic malted barley, organic hops, organic dry malt extract (DME) for bottling, Irish Moss, recipe, and instructions. Produces an original gravity of approximately 1.060. IBU's: 54. Recommended yeast for this kit (Not included! Order separately): Wyeast #1968 Special London Ale, or White Labs Burton Ale.

***NOTE: If you choose the option to purchase the kit without DME or corn sugar for bottling you will need to supply your own bottling sugar (corn sugar, DME, etc.). You may not need bottling sugar if you plan to keg your beer.

Our all grain kits do not come in fancy packaging (box with color label), thus we do not have a "plain brown wrapper" option.

UPS Ground Shipping Rates: We ship most orders by UPS ground. Shipping cost is based on weight and we charge what UPS charges us to ship your package. If you order online, the shipping cost is calculated once the items you wish to order are added to the shopping cart and you enter the ship to address. If you are mailing or faxing an order you will need the shipping quote before the order is sent to us. Here are the options for obtaining a shipping quote:

This means orders must be placed by 12 pm to be shipped by Priority Mail the following day. ORDERS THAT WEIGH OVER 150 lbs

Our shopping cart cannot compute the actual shipping cost for orders that weigh over 150 lbs. If ordering heavy items online, the shopping cart will bill you a $99 temporary rate. This is not a flat rate to ship your order. The actual cost will be calculated by our shipping department and we will contact you to authorize the actual shipping charge. For orders over 200 lbs, the rate will include the hundredweight discount if shipped by UPS ground.

SHIPPING & BACK ORDERS:

We ship most orders within one business day of receiving them (except for orders shipped via the US Post Office, which can take up to 1 extra day for processing). If an order is received by 12 PM on a weekday we will ship it the same day (except for very large orders and USPS orders). We are a small business with a small staff, so there are days when we have lots of orders to ship and we cannot ship all of the orders on that day. When this happens (most often on Mondays), we always ship the orders in the order that we received them. We really appreciate your understanding! We do not back order or substitute items without contacting you first: If we are out of an item we will call or e-mail for instructions, unless the item is a closeout that is no longer available, in which case it will be dropped from the order.

C.O.D. ORDERS:

We do not accept COD orders. Check or money orders can be mailed to the address on the order form

EXPRESS SHIPPING:

If you are in a rush we can ship your order via UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Air to zones A & B. Zone C Shipments are always shipped USPS Priority Mail, but can be shipped overnight upon request. If you wish NEXT DAY AIR Shipping, you must place your order by telephone. Orders shipped by an expedited method are billed the actual cost of shipping & insurance.

All of the products labeled organic that we sell are certified organic by California certified Organic Farmers, a USDA recognized agency. The USDA federal rule guarantees you, the consumer, organic products that are grown without toxic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Buying organic will insure that the food products you consume contain no genetically modified organisms (GMO's), and are free from irradiation. In addition, buying certified organic means all of the equipment and storage facilities have been inspected to make sure no harmful chemicals are used in cleaning equipment or pest management, and no chemical or other potentially harmful processing aids or additives are used in the processing of organic foods.
