Shade grown, certified organic, and Fair Trade. Grown by a small group of coffee producers nestled in the mountains just below Volcano Tajumalco (the highest volcano in Central America at 13,715 feet). The growers are certified and passionately committed to organic agricultural practices. The coffee variety is Bourbon, Typica and Caturra.
This rare coffee has very good acidity and is nicely balanced with a slight hint of spice. Because of the small production, there is only a limited quantity of this coffee available each year. Recommended roast: medium to Full City or French.
