Certified organic, shade grown, and Fair Trade. Harrar is a dry processed coffee reminiscent of ancient times, and indeed springs from the birthplace of the Arabica coffee plant. This is a bold and intense medium bodied cup with an enticing berry/fruit aroma. Rich earthy and spicy notes develop with a darker roast. The growers of this coffee are members of the Oromia Coffee Farmers Co-op, a large cooperative with 22,734 farmer members. This coffee just became certified Fair Trade. We recommend a Vienna to a French or Italian roast.

This means orders must be placed by 12 pm to be shipped by Priority Mail the following day. Orders placed after noon that are being shipped by Priority Mail will not ship the next day, they will ship the day after. ORDERS THAT WEIGH OVER 150 lbs

Our shopping cart cannot compute the actual shipping cost for orders that weigh over 150 lbs. If ordering heavy items online, the shopping cart will bill you a $99 temporary rate. This is not a flat rate to ship your order. The actual cost will be calculated by our shipping department and we will contact you to authorize the actual shipping charge. For orders over 200 lbs, the rate will include the hundredweight discount if shipped by UPS ground.

SHIPPING & BACK ORDERS:

We ship most orders within one business day of receiving them (except for orders shipped via the US Post Office, which can take up to 1 extra day for processing). If an order is received by 12 PM on a weekday we will ship it the same day (except for very large orders and USPS orders). We are a small business with a small staff, so there are days when we have lots of orders to ship and we cannot ship all of the orders on that day. When this happens (most often on Mondays), we always ship the orders in the order that we received them. We really appreciate your understanding! We do not back order or substitute items without contacting you first: If we are out of an item we will call or e-mail for instructions, unless the item is a closeout that is no longer available, in which case it will be dropped from the order.

C.O.D. ORDERS:

We do not accept COD orders. Check or money orders can be mailed to the address on the order form

EXPRESS SHIPPING:

If you are in a rush we can ship your order via UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Air to zones A & B. Zone C Shipments are always shipped USPS Priority Mail, but can be shipped overnight upon request. If you wish NEXT DAY AIR Shipping, you must place your order by telephone. Orders shipped by an expedited method are billed the actual cost of shipping & insurance.

The USDA federal rule guarantees you, the consumer, organic products that are grown without toxic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
