This coffee is pale like a good Java, with a full body and deep but subtle spice in the flavor, with a hint of acidity to balance the flavors. The Maubesse is a little robust yet remarkably smooth. We like this coffee as a City roast (medium-dark), but it is a versatile coffee that can be roasted light, medium, or dark.
