This thermometer can easily be installed in any brew kettle simply by drilling a 7/8" hole in the desired location. It has a 6 inch probe, which extends far enough into the mash to get an accurate temperature reading, as the probe has more area to read the temperatures from. Includes a professional quality bi-metal thermometer that is made in the USA. Thermometer reads a temperature range of 0- 250 oF, and has a calibration screw and a glass lens. All metal parts are 100% stainless steel, and the gasket is a high-temp, food-grade material.
