We have always been fans of the Belgian Wit style, and have slowly perfected our organic version of this unique and tasty beer over the past few years. The recipe development was truly a cooperative effort of our shop staff, and we are pleased to finally offer you our newest Organic Beer Kit! Our Belgian Wit is a cloudy white beer with a smooth, bready flavor finishing with a refreshing citrus coriander spiciness. The premium grade organic spices included in our kit are what really makes this beer outstanding. The coriander is fresh cracked, mixed with the orange and lemon peel, and immediately packed in a barrier foil bag so the fresh spice aroma will captivate you when you open the packet and add it to your brew! Our mash-extract recipe contains about 40% wheat malt. Contains organic dry malt extract, organic malted barley, organic malted wheat, organic coriander, organic orange peel, organic lemon peel, organic hops, organic bottling sugar, recipe, and instructions. Produces an original gravity of approximately 1.047. IBU's: 18. Recommended yeast for this kit (Not included! Order separately): Wyeast #3944 Belgian Wit or White Labs Belgian Wit. ***NOTE: If you choose the option to purchase the kit without DME or corn sugar for bottling you will need to supply your own bottling sugar (corn sugar, DME, etc.). You may not need bottling sugar if you plan to keg your beer.
