First and foremost, this is a beautifully illustrated book. This also makes it a quick read as every page has pictures. Its a good coffee table book to pick up when you are looking for some brewing inspiration. Packed with recipes that think outside the box of conventional brewing. Think of a Witbier with Kiwi or a Saison with candied ginger. Although this book is mostly geared towards beginning brewers as the recipes are all extract or partial mash, it does cover some of the techniques an experienced brewer would find useful, such as high gravity brewing or daling with the impact on the fermentation process of unusual brewing.
