Customer
Service Associate: Application
Deadline February 25, 2011
This
is a part time position which might require working some
weekend shifts. Weekdays worked are
somewhat flexible but this position is most needed on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays. Requires at least
28 hours per week. Start date:
March 1st or as soon
thereafter as possible.
Pay

Position
Description:
This position is primarily focused
on assisting retail and mail order customers. Daily
tasks include answering questions on the sales floor
and by phone, taking phone orders for local pick up
or shipment, and ringing up cash and credit card sales.
Responsibilities also include keeping the retail store
clean and well stocked, keeping displays up to date,
and assisting with keeping databases of customers and
items current. In addition the retail sales associate
will assist in other tasks such as prepping mail orders,
packaging various products, and assisting with keeping
up inventory and re-ordering stock.
Qualifications:
√ Home
brewing knowledge and hands on experience of intermediate
brewing or better is required.
√ Must
be comfortable with computer programs QuickBooks, Excel

is a part time hourly position which will require working
every weekday, Monday through Friday. 20 to 30 hours
per week, some weekend shifts available if extra hours
are desired. Start date: June 22.

Description:
Primary
responsibility is that all shipments sent are shipped on
time, accurate and fulfilled to the standards of Seven
Bridges and the wishes of the customers. Shipping person
will also check in all orders promptly and accurately noting
any damaged or missing items. Responsibilities also include
keeping packing supplies stocked and organized and keeping
the shipping area clean and well stocked. May be asked
to help with
other projects around the warehouse from time to time so
long as these do not interfere with the main priority of
making sure orders are shipped on time.
Qualifications:

Primary responsibilities include the following
tasks:
√ Keeping
the shipping area neat and organized, including daily
sweeping and recycling.
√ Making
sure there is a good supply of all materials needed
to perform the shipping tasks, including boxes, tape, shipping
documents and packing material.
√ Receiving
shipments of inventory and supplies for the store,
and alerting the General manager if there are damaged or
missing items.
√ Double
checking that all orders are complete and accurate,
and work with Managers to resolve order shipping
problems

addition to these responsibilities the there may also be other tasks from
time to time including serving walk
in customers, packaging products, coordinating
projects with other staff members, handling customer support calls, and making
sure items low in stock are reordered. These other tasks are secondary to the
primary task of order fulfillment and should be delegated to other co-workers
when possible if tackling them would interfere with the primary responsibility

Position
Description:
The Assistant Manager will be responsible
for much of the management of the day-to-day operations
of the retail and mail order portion of 7 Bridges Co-op.
This includes phones, customer service, employee oversight,
retail storefront and mail order department. Essentially
the position will play a supporting role for the 7 Bridges
Manager in all aspects of day-to-day co-op business with
the exception of wholesale. A cooperative working relationship
with the Manager, staff, and the Board of Directors is
expected, and the Assistant Manager will be directly
responsible to the Manager and also to the Board of Directors.
Seven Bridges is quickly growing as a leader in a unique
niche of the Natural Products and Homebrew industries.

Qualifications:

experience which includes proven staff supervision experience.

Specific
Duties:
The assistant manager will spend approximately
50% of their time on the retail, shipping, and production
floor working with customers and staff. They will be
responsible for handling most of the web and phone mail
order processing, including the follow-up work of customer
support and problem solving. They will also be responsible
for routine ordering of supplies and basic inventory.
The
Assistant manager will be expected to work closely with
the General Manager to communicate progress on a regular
basis and share responsibilities in the areas of mail order
processing and customer support, staff supervision, maintaining
inventory database and reordering inventory, webstore maintenance
and basic updates, and working on special events. The Assistant
Manager will also share responsibilities with production
and shipping to help maintain high quality standards, and
learn all the various jobs at 7 Bridges in order to be
able to fill in when needed and train other staff. They
will also work closely with the retail store sales lead
to keep the storefront clean and displays current, ordering
retail supplies and inventory.
The
Assistant manager will be expected to be a resource for
employees for making their work smooth, efficient and of
the highest quality possible. They will also be expected
to be a reliable and trustworthy support person for the
General Manager to ensure the goals of the Seven Bridges
Members are met and communication at all levels of the
business is open, honest, and clear.
